Well, according to the surgeon, my eye surgery went well. He was able to remove all the scar tissue and reattach my retina. Which I didn't know was detached. So while everything went fine for him, I am on a 3-day rest protocol of having to lay face down or sit with my chin tucked and my gaze pointed back behind my feet. Which is really impossible when you're trying to sleep without suffocating yourself! I look like Lance beats me up cuz my eye is red and bruised and I have a few stitches in my actual eyeball. Which is as weird and as gross as it sounds ( I'll spare you the picture). He did have to put the oil in my eye which sucks for now and when I have to go back in and have it taken out. But overall I'm hoping that it will cure whatever is going on inside my eye.
